Rio Grande Credit Union – Rio Bravo Branch

Rio Grande Credit Union is a local credit union with multiple branches. The RGCU at Rio Bravo is a combination of a credit union branch and corporate offices. The building is a two story facility with angled cement plaster walls, metal canopies and strategically placed storefront and windows that provide an abundance of natural light throughout the building. The first floor contains the credit union branch and all the necessary support spaces, including a meeting room with floor to ceiling glazing at the interior. The second floor houses corporate offices, including a large board room with access to a second floor balcony along the north side of the building. An exposed roof structure emphasizes the two story volume at the entry vestibule and stairs. Through planning and design execution, this project successfully meets the current and future needs of this thriving company.
