Radiology Associates

Radiology Associates | New Mexico Heart Institute

Radiology Associates of Albuquerque, a growing imaging practice, wanted to consolidate all of their locations into a 23,500sf space located in a large renovated warehouse building in the @25 complex in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  The space is divided equally between clinical space and administrative space for the practice.  The industrial feel of the space is enhanced by exposing the structure and duct work.  Skylights were added strategically to bring natural light into the deep recesses of the existing floor plate.

The clinical space provides a separate Women’s Imaging Center and a General Radiation area, both accessible from the central lobby.  The spaces are distinctly different in look and feel, with the Women’s Imaging Center comfortable and engaging and the General Radiation area more high-tech.  The administrative area is located away from the clinical area with limited public access.  The work area is a large open office environment with high ceilings, exposed structure and indirect lighting and skylights to provide plentiful light.  A large break room and boardroom are located in the administrative area, and the two spaces can be combined by opening sliding glass doors for staff meetings and employee functions.
