Fidelity Investments

Mesa del Sol Fidelity Investments is a 218,000 square foot contact center/office building on 24.8 acres on the north end of Mesa del Sol’s Innovation Park. The office building houses back-office functions for a large financial services company that will employ 1250 at full occupancy.

The building consists of two 55,000 sq. ft. floor plate blocks with a shared lobby. This configuration allows the building to be subleased in the future. The Lobby space is two stories high and features an open stair to encourage employee interaction. An exercise room and cafeteria is located on either side of the lobby. Private offices and conference rooms are located at the center of the floor plate with open office cubicles located at the perimeter of the building. Windows lining the west and south-facing facades are installed in three, seven, and ten foot widths, creating syncopated rhythm of fenestration. These windows are recessed to provide shade from direct summer sun, and are accented with bright colors to contrast with the predominant earth tones of the building. Metal panels frame a two-story opening at the lobby, providing a sense of a significant corporate entry.

The building received LEED Gold certification. This is the first LEED Gold office building at Mesa del Sol.
